Trish Vulopas has been a practicing physical therapist for 26 years. She graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1994 with a Master's degree in physical therapy. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University. Trish began her physical therapy career at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC specializing in pediatrics, and quickly moved into a management role.
She relocated to California taking a position in neurosurgical/spinal rehab at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. Trish then started a comprehensive home care business providing physical,occupational, speech and massage therapies as well as nursing care. Trish believes in life-long learning and has broadened her knowledge and skills throughout the years with continuing education, working in many different cities in a wide variety of settings. She has experience in hospitals, inpatient rehab, outpatient clinics, home care, school systems, hospice and long term care facilities.
Trish was invited several times to share her high level of expertise to the international community through training programs and treating patients abroad. In an effort to give back Trish recently participated in a volunteer mission providing physical therapy to children in Haiti. For the last 14 years Trish has practiced in Sarasota improving quality of life with a holistic approach integrating many specialties such as craniosacral therapy, manual/myofascial therapy, yoga and pilates based exercises and MPS therapy.
